Authenticated Remote Monitor

As of R2.7.0, it is possible to include a challenge-response sequence in any Remote Monitor command. This prevents unauthorised radios from sending Remote Monitor requests.

There are two ways this can be handled: Device Authentication where the challenge and response are processed automatically between the radios or User Autentication where the source radio (the user who sends the Remote Monitor) needs to enter a password.

To enable this feature, you will need to upgrade to R2.7.0; need to enable Enhaned Privacy or have AES256 and will need to purchase and activate the Authenticated Remote Monitor CfS licence.
